RETake 2026 Brings Mumbai’s Cinematic Spirit Alive at L. S. Raheja College


MUMBAI :- The corridors of L. S. Raheja College, Santacruz came alive with colour, sound, and storytelling as Retake 2026 unfolded on 9th and 10th January. Marking the 11th edition of the annual BMM fest, the event embraced its theme Bambai Mosaic, paying homage to Mumbai’s layered culture and its inseparable bond with cinema. For two days, the campus transformed into a vibrant tribute to the city’s spirit—raw, passionate, and endlessly creative.

Participants from over 14 colleges brought their cinematic identities to life through contingents inspired by iconic Mumbai-based films. From elaborate banners and synchronized chants to mascots embodying beloved characters, the atmosphere was electric. Every corner of the campus reflected imagination, teamwork, and the pride of representing stories rooted in the heart of Mumbai.
Retake 2026 offered a diverse mix of intellectual and cultural events. Panel Discussions and TVC Pitch challenged students to think critically and articulate ideas with industry relevance, while Drama, Dance, Fashion Show, DJ, Rap, and Singing events transformed stages into powerful platforms of expression. Each performance echoed months of preparation and dedication, capturing the pulse of the city itself.
After two days of intense competition, CC Talaash emerged as the overall winners, with CC Baazigar securing the first runners-up position and CC Gully Boy finishing as second runners-up.
