RETake 2026 Showcases Mumbai’s Spirit Through Cinema and Creativity


MUMBAI :- Retake 2026 marked yet another milestone for L. S. Raheja College, Santacruz, as the 11th edition of its annual BMM fest took place on 9th and 10th January. Embracing the theme Bambai Mosaic, the fest paid tribute to Mumbai’s multifaceted identity and the cinema that mirrors its dreams, struggles, and spirit.

With participation from more than 14 colleges, the campus turned into a lively film set where contingents named after iconic Mumbai-based films showcased their creativity. From synchronized chants to mascots dressed in character, the enthusiasm of participants and supporters alike filled the campus with energy and excitement.
The fest featured an engaging mix of media, cultural, and literary events. While Panel Discussions and TVC Pitch focused on critical thinking and industry insight, cultural performances such as Drama, Dance, Fashion Show, DJ, Rap, and Singing captivated audiences with powerful storytelling and expression. Every event highlighted teamwork, preparation, and healthy competition.
At the end of two competitive days, CC Talaash emerged as the overall winners, followed by CC Baazigar as first runners-up and CC Gully Boy as second runners-up. With the backing of Dr. Rashel Beauty Elixirs, Mother Dairy, and Bonkers Corner, Retake 2026 concluded successfully, reaffirming that Mumbai is not merely a place, but a feeling that continues to inspire generations.
