Cinema Meets Campus as RETake 2026 Celebrates Mumbai at L. S. Raheja College
MUMBAI :- The 11th edition of Retake, the annual BMM fest of L. S. Raheja College, Santacruz, unfolded on 9th and 10th January 2026, transforming the campus into a cinematic celebration of Mumbai. With its theme Bambai Mosaic, Retake 2026 honored the city’s stories, struggles, and cinematic legacy, weaving them into two days of spirited competition and expression.
Students from over 14 colleges participated with contingents inspired by iconic Mumbai-based films. From early morning registrations to late evening performances, the energy on campus remained high. Banners, chants, and character-driven mascots added to the immersive experience, reflecting the pride and passion of each participating team.
Retake 2026 showcased a wide spectrum of events, combining intellect with entertainment. Panel Discussions and TVC Pitch pushed participants to analyze, ideate, and communicate effectively, while cultural events such as Drama, Dance, Fashion Show, DJ, Rap, and Singing brought stories to life on stage. Each performance stood as a testament to months of preparation and creative dedication.
After two thrilling days, CC Talaash claimed the title of overall winners, with CC Baazigar and CC Gully Boy securing the first and second runners-up positions respectively. With the support of Dr. Rashel Beauty Elixirs, Mother Dairy, and Bonkers Corner, the fest concluded on a high note, reinforcing Mumbai’s timeless influence on art and storytelling.
